Cambridge Hall is a rare example of an iron-clad church or 'Tin Tabernacle' dating from the 1860's. It is now home to the Sea Cadets.
The building is in very poor condition and features on the English Heritage Buildings at Risk Register. Our practice was engaged by South Kilburn New Deal for Communities to explore development options that would retain Cambridge Hall as a community asset. These included residential and community schemes with the potential for public-private financing.
In advance of a Lottery Fund bid we also completed a detailed Conservation Statement describing the building's historic significance, vulnerability issues and conservation options.
